Pay Rate: £12.71 (Earn up to £15.00 per hour including tips)

We’re looking for a reliable and hardworking Kitchen Porter to join our Manchester team. You’ll play an important role in keeping the kitchen running smoothly, supporting our chefs and maintaining high standards of cleanliness, food safety and organisation. Key responsibilities:

• Assist with daily food preparation, including chopping vegetables, portioning ingredients and preparing ramen toppings, sauces and other ingredients.
• Keep kitchen areas, equipment, utensils and storage areas clean, organised and hygienic.
• Wash and sanitise dishes, cookware and kitchen equipment as required.
• Follow food hygiene, health and safety procedures at all times.
• Assist with deliveries, stock checks and putting stock away correctly.
• Ensure food is stored correctly and stock is rotated according to company procedures.
• Support chefs and the wider kitchen team during busy services.
• Assist with kitchen opening and closing duties.
• Maintain a clean, safe and organised working environment throughout the shift.

Skills & Qualifications:

• Previous kitchen or food prep experience preferred, but not essential as training is provided.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic knife skills and understanding of food preparation.
• Strong teamwork, communication, and attention to detail.
• Knowledge of food hygiene and safety standards is a plus.
• Reliable, hardworking, and flexible with shifts, including evenings and weekends.
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
