Our Southampton location is opening soon, and we’re looking for an experienced and adaptable Hot Section Chef to lead the launch and shape the future of this exciting new site. Key responsibilities:

  • Managing the hot line during service
  • Preparing and plating ramen, donburi, and other hot menu items
  • Ensuring food quality, portion control, and presentation standards
  • Supporting prep and stock rotation
  • Maintaining a clean, organised, and efficient kitchen section
  • Working closely with the wider kitchen team during busy periods


Skills & Qualifications:

  • Previous experience as a line cook, chef, or hot section chef
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment
  • Strong understanding of food hygiene, health & safety, and kitchen standards
  • Consistent knife skills, prep skills, and section organisation
  • Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure
  • Good communication and teamwork skills
  • Passion for quality food and attention to detail
  • Experience with Japanese cuisine, ramen, or rice bowls is advantageous but not essential
  • Food Safety / Hygiene certification preferred
  • Right to work in the UK
